19 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAli ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us; from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn; from al-Mughira ibn ʿAbbād, who said: It was asked of one of the monks, “Who is the mutawakkil (the one who truly relies upon Allah)?” He replied, “The person who is never displeased with Allah’s decree, whether it concerns something he dislikes or something he loves.”
