53 – ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Shuʿbah informed us; from ⦗68⦘ Manṣūr, from Ibrāhīm and Mujāhid, concerning the Almighty’s words, “And for the one who fears standing before his Lord there are two gardens” (Q 55:46). They said: It is the person who intends to commit a sin, then remembers the standing before his Lord and so abandons the sin.
