40 – Al-Hārith ibn Muḥammad al-Tamīmī narrated to me; Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir related to us; ⦗60⦘ Jasr Abū Jaʿfar likewise related, saying: “I asked Yūnus, ‘Abū ʿAbd Allāh, I passed by a group who were disputing about the Divine Decree.’ He replied, ‘If their sins had truly preoccupied them, they would not have argued about the Divine Decree.’”
