23 – Hāshim ibn al-Walīd al-Harawī narrated to us; Sulaymān ibn Muslim narrated to us; Sulaymān al-Taymī told me, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ, that he said:
“The seal is suspended from one of the supports of Allah’s Throne. When a sacred limit is violated and someone dares to defy the Lord, Allah dispatches that seal; it is then stamped upon the person’s heart, and from that moment he can grasp nothing.”
