206 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; Ibrāhīm narrated, saying: “I heard al-Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ remark, ‘What makes you feel secure? Perhaps you have openly defied Allah with a deed that provoked His wrath, whereupon He shut the door of forgiveness in your face. If that is the case, what do you think will become of you?’”
