205 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to us; Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ashʿath reported it; al-Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ, on the authority of Sufyān al-Thawrī, from Ḥabīb, from ʿUrwah ibn ʿĀmir, said:

“Whenever a man’s sins are laid out before him, he will say, ‘Indeed, I always feared you.’ Thereupon he is forgiven.”
