179 – Hārūn narrated to us; Sayyār narrated to us; Muḥammad ibn Marwān al-ʿIjlī narrated to us; Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd said: I heard Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Muzanī say, “You fall into many sins, so increase your seeking of forgiveness; for when a servant finds on the Day of Resurrection, between every two lines of his record, a plea for forgiveness, he will be delighted to see it there.”
