168 – Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to me; ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad related from ‘Uqbah ibn Abi al-Sahba’; Qurrah ibn ‘Isa narrated from Harun al-Barbari; from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Umairah; from al-Ahnaf ibn Qays, who said:

“Allah revealed to the two recording angels who accompany the child of Adam: ‘Do not record anything against My servant when he is in a state of irritation.’”
