154 – Bishr ibn Hilal al-Numayri informed us; Jaʿfar ibn Sulayman transmitted, from Bisṭām ibn Muslim, who said: I heard al-Hasan say, “And what makes you sure, O child of Adam? Perhaps you once performed a deed that provoked wrath, and you are now toiling in a place where deeds avail nothing.”
