110 – Muhammad ibn ‘Imran al-Dabbi said: Ibn Kunasah recited to me:
It is blame enough for a man, O Umm Salih,
that he deliberately plunges into sin and treats it as trifling.
What of a soul that remains lodged in wrongdoing
whose endurance is too weak for even the lightest touch of punishment?
It has incurred the deeds that make Hellfire certain,
yet it goes on amusing itself with a world whose choicest part has already slipped away.
