101 – Muhammad ibn Idris related to me; Suwayd ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Musa ibn ʿUmayr, from Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad, from his father, that he would say in the depth of the night:
“You commanded me, yet I did not comply; You forbade me, yet I did not desist. Here stands Your servant before You, and I have no excuse.”
