97 – Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAmr narrated to us; he said: One of the sages remarked, “Whoever passes his days indulging his desires and sells Allah’s obedience for disobedience has bartered away Allah’s blessing, turning it into the very means that will convey him to His punishment.”
