7 – Abu Hafs al-Najjari related to me; al-Mundhir ibn al-Walid al-Jarudi narrated to us; Ali ibn Baziʿ narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Mawdud, on the authority of al-Hasan, who said: “I once heard al-Hajjaj saying:
‘Happy is the person who comprehends Allah’s command, who awakens, comes to his senses, detests sin and hypocrisy, and yearns with heartfelt longing for what is with Allah.’”
