22 – Muhammad ibn al-Harith al-Kharraz narrated to me; Sayyar narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; al-Muʿalla ibn Ziyad narrated from al-Hasan, who said:
“There is not a single day that comes in this world except that it speaks, saying: ‘O people, I am a new day, and I bear witness to whatever is done within me. Once the sun has set, I shall never return to you again until the Day of Resurrection.’”
٢٢ - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْخَرَّازُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: " لَيْسَ يَوْمًا يَأْتِي مِنْ أَيَّامِ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا يَتَكَلَّمُ يَقُولُ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، إِنِّي يَوْمٌ جَدِيدٌ، وَإِنِّي عَلَى مَا يُعْمَلُ فِيَّ شَهِيدٌ، فَإِنِّي لَوْ قَدْ غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ لَمْ أَرْجِعْ إِلَيْكُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ "
