21 – ʿAli ibn Muslim narrated to me; Sayyar narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; and Malik ibn Dinar narrated, saying: “This night and this day are two storehouses, so take heed of what you deposit in them.” He would also say: “Work through the night for the purpose it was created, and work through the day for the purpose it was created.”
