89 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: “It reached me from Ahmad ibn ʿImran al-Akhnasi: Sulaiman ibn Hayyan narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Ibrahim, who said:

‘Three people are not considered subjects of backbiting: the oppressor, the openly immoral person, and the adherent of religious innovation.’”
