70 – Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Qurashī narrated to us; Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us. He said: al-Shaybānī reported from Ḥassān ibn Mukhāriq, from ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said: “A short woman once entered while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting. I signaled with my thumb like this, pointing toward the Prophet to show that she was short, so he said, ‘You have backbitten her.’”
