22 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Muḥammad b. Abī Ḥātim told me; ʿAbd Allah b. Dāwūd related to us. He said: I heard Sufyān, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿAmr b. Fuḍayl, who said: Ibrāhīm declared, “I have ⦗12⦘ never entered into a dispute.” He (ʿAmr) said, “I asked him, ‘Not even once?’” Ibn Dāwūd added, “Yes—this is exactly what he meant.”
