137 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Idris narrated to us; Asbagh ibn al-Faraj narrated to us; Ibn Wahb informed me; ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAyyash informed me, from Yazid ibn Qawdhir, from Kaʿb — may Allah be pleased with him — who said:

“Beware of namīma (malicious tale-bearing), for the one who practices it will never find relief from the torment of the grave.”
