14 – ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; Isma‘il ibn Ishaq al-Azdi narrated to us; Ishaq ibn Muhammad al-Farwi narrated to us; from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Umar; from Humayd at-Tawil; from Anas ibn Malik, who said:
‘Umar ibn al-Khattab declared, “Boastful, blustering speech issues from the bluster of Satan.”
١٤ - حَدَّثَنِا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَرْوِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: «إِنَّ شَقَاشِقَ الْكَلَامِ مِنْ شَقَاشِقِ الشَّيْطَانِ»
