131 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah b. Abī Badr narrated to me; Wakīʿ narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Ibrāhīm, from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Yazīd—may Allah be pleased with him—who said:

We had a non-Arab bondwoman. When death approached her she began to say, “So-and-so is wallowing in the mud.” After she died we asked about that man, and they said, “He was in good health, except that he used to engage in namīma (talebearing).”
