125 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Jamil narrated to us; Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us; Ismaʿil ibn Abi ⦗38⦘ Khalid narrated to us, from Shubayl ibn ʿAwf, who said: It used to be said, “Whoever hears of an indecency and then publicizes it is like the one who first committed it.”
