99 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿUbayd Allah b. Jarir narrated to us; Musa b. Ismaʿil narrated to us; al-Mubarak narrated to us, from al-Hasan—may Allah have mercy on him—who said: “When a person’s indecency becomes public, there is no backbiting with respect to him—such as the mukhannath (effeminate man) and the like of the Haruriyyah (Kharijites).”
