Dhamm al-BaghyIbn Abi al-Dunya

21 – Muhammad b. Salih al-Qurashi narrated to me, saying: Abu al-Yaqzan ‘Amir b. Hafs al-‘Ujayfi narrated to me; he said: al-Fudayl b. Sulayman al-‘Ujayfi informed me, from Labtah b. al-Farazdaq, from al-Farazdaq, that Qays b. ‘Asim had thirty-three sons. He used to forbid them from committing aggression and would say, “By Allah, no people have ever behaved tyrannically without being humiliated.” He also said: If one of his sons was wronged by some of his tribe, he would stop his brothers from coming to his aid, fearing that they might fall into aggression.
