7 – ʿAbd Allah ibn Idris narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Wahb al-Dimashqi narrated to us; Baqiyah ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from al-ʿAbbās ibn al-Akhnas, from Thawr ibn Yazīd, from Khālid ibn Maʿdān, who said: “Learn certitude just as you learn the Quran, until you truly recognize it—for I myself am still learning it.”
