33 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father—may Allah have mercy on him—narrated to me. I am ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Qurashī, reporting from Sufyān, from Ziyād ibn al-Muḍaffar, who said: I heard al-Ḥasan say, “O son of Adam, one sign of the weakness of your certainty is that you feel more secure with what is in your own hand than with what is in the hand of Allah.”
