25 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Zakariyya al-Balkhi narrated to us; Mubashshir ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; from al-Awzaʿi; from al-ʿAlaʾ ibn ʿUtbah, who said that the Prophet ﷺ used to say:

“O Allah, I ask You for faith that permeates my heart, for certitude by which I know that no share of provision You have allotted me can ever be withheld, and for contentment with the livelihood You have apportioned for me.”
