24 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Khalid ibn Khidash narrated to us; Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us; from ʿAmir ibn ʿUbaydah; from a man, who said: “I was walking in the depths of the night when I sensed a man behind me— I thought it was al-Ahnaf— and I heard him saying: ⦗43⦘ ‘O Allah, grant me certitude by which You make the calamities of this world easy for me.’”
