5 – “When any of you breaks his fast, let him do so with dates … for they are purifying.”
Reported by Aḥmad, al-Tirmidhī, Abū Dāwūd, Ibn Mājah, and al-Dārimī on the authority of Salmān ibn ʿĀmir.
In another wording: “Whoever finds dates, let him break his fast with them …”
