Hadith 167, p. 262:
Narrated by Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“Not a single day dawns upon the servants except that two angels descend … ‘…for the one who withholds—loss.’”

This is what the author placed under the section “From Authentication to Weakening,” mistakenly—and misleading the readers—into thinking that al-Albani had retracted his grading.

Al-Albani never declared the hadith weak—far be it from him to do so—for the hadith is found in both Sahih collections.
