161 – “On the night I was taken on the Night Journey I saw men whose lips were being cut with shears … they had forgotten themselves.”

Narrated by Ibn Hibban and al-Bayhaqi from Anas ibn Malik.

162 – “Guarding the frontier for one day in the path of Allah is better than a thousand days spent elsewhere in any other dwelling.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa’i, and Ibn Hibban from ‘Uthman.
Weak: Da‘if al-Jami‘ (no. 3084).
