86 – ʿAlī ibn Muslim related to me; he said: Sayyār narrated to us; he said: Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: Mālik ibn Dīnār narrated to us; he said: I heard ʿAbd Allāh ⦗57⦘ al-Dārī say: “The people endowed with true knowledge of Allah and granted acceptance by Him used to declare: ‘Renouncing the world brings tranquillity to both heart and body, whereas craving for it only multiplies worry and grief.’”
