84 – Azhar related to me; he said: Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: Abū Kaʿb narrated; he said: I heard al-Hasan say: “In this world the believer is like a stranger: he does not vie for its prestige, nor does he despair over its humiliation. People have one concern—indeed, I think he added: and he has another—so channel these surpluses to the places Allah has appointed.”
