82 – Azhar ibn Marwan al-Raqashi told me; he said: Jaʿfar ibn Sulayman narrated to us; he said: Hisham narrated to us; he said: al-Hasan said:
“By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I met people to whom this world was lighter than the dust you walk upon. They did not care whether the world shone or dimmed, whether it turned this way or that.”
٨٢ - حَدَّثَنِي أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْاوَنَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: ثنا هِشَامٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُ أَقْوَامًا كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ التُّرَابِ الَّذِي تَمْشُونَ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَا يُبَالُونَ، أَشْرَقَتِ الدُّنْيَا أَمْ غَرَبَتْ، أَذْهَبَتْ إِلَى ذَا أَمْ إِلَى ذَا "
