61 – Muhammad narrated to us; Bishr ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Nahshali told us: “We visited Abu Bakr al-Nahshali when he was in the throes of death. He kept nodding, raising and lowering his head as though performing prayer. One of his companions said to him, ‘At a moment like this—may Allah have mercy on you?’ He replied, ‘I am hastening so that my scroll may be folded.’”
