59 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn related to me; Bishr ibn ʿUmar al-Zahrani narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Wahid ibn Ṣafwān reported:
“We were with al-Hasan at a funeral when he said, ‘May Allah show mercy to anyone who has worked for a day like this. ⦗46⦘ Today you are able to do what these brothers of yours who lie in the graves can no longer do, so seize your health and your free time before terror and the Reckoning arrive.’”
(That is: do not remain idle, absorbed in this worldly life.)
