497 – Muḥammad ibn Idrīs narrated to me; Huraym ibn ʿUthmān narrated to us; from Sallām ibn Miskīn; from Mālik ibn Dīnār, who said: “Love of the world is the root of every sin, women are Satan’s snares, and wine is the caller to every evil.”
٤٩٧ - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، نا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَلَّامِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، قَالَ: «حُبُّ الدُّنْيَا رَأْسُ كُلِّ خَطِيئَةٍ، وَالنِّسَاءُ حِبَالَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَالْخَمْرُ دَاعِيَةُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ»
