496 – Muḥammad ibn Idrīs narrated to us; ʿAbdah ibn Sulaymān narrated to us; Ādam narrated to us; Abū ʿĀṣim—our imam in ʿAbbādān—narrated; from Salm ibn Bashīr, who said:

The disciples said to Jesus—peace be upon him—“O Spirit of Allah, teach us one act that will endear us to Allah.” He replied, “Detest the world, and Allah will love you.”
