467 – Salamah ibn Shabīb narrated to me; ‘Abd al-Wahhāb ibn Najdah related it, from Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd, from Ḍubārah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Alhānī, from Duwayd ibn Nāfiʿ, who said: Jesus son of Mary—peace be upon him—said: “You pursue knowledge for a paltry world and neglect the immense Hereafter, while death will overtake every one of you.”
