466 – Salamah ibn Shabīb narrated to me; Zuhayr ibn ʿAbbād al-Rawāsī told us, from Dāwūd ibn Hilāl al-Naṣībī, who said: Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) said: “Woe to you, corrupt scholars! For the sake of a base worldly gain and a vile desire you squander the dominion of a lofty Garden and forget the terror of the Day of Resurrection.”
