405 – Abū Hurayrah al-Ṣayrafī narrated to me; he said: Abū ʿĀṣim narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Jaʿfar, who said: Ḥusayn ibn ʿAṭāʾ narrated to me, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar, from Abū Dharr—may Allah be pleased with him—who traced it back to the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—who said:

“Not a single day, night, or even hour passes without Allah, Exalted is He, granting in it a charitable gift which He bestows upon whomever of His servants He wills. And Allah has never favored a servant with anything better than inspiring him to remember Him.”
