37 – Ahmad ibn ‘Asim al-‘Abbadani narrated to me; he said: Sa‘id ibn ‘Amir related to us, from Shu‘bah, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, from ‘Abd Allah ibn Salamah, who said: Mu‘adh ibn Jabal declared, “O assembly of Qur’an reciters, what will you do with a world that is ready to sever your necks? Whoever has Allah place his wealth in his heart has indeed prospered; whoever does not, the world will never profit him.”
