358 – Muḥammad ibn ʿĀṣim narrated to us; Nāfiʿ Abū Hurmuz informed me, from Anas ibn Mālik, who said:

The Angel of Death came to Noah, peace be upon him, and said, “O longest-lived of the prophets, how have you found the world and its pleasures?” He replied, “Like a man who entered a house with two doors: he stood for a brief moment in the middle, then went out through the other door.”
