329 – Khalaf ibn Hisham al-Bazzar narrated to us; he said: Abu Shihab narrated to us, from Humayd, from Anas, who said:
“The Messenger of Allah’s she-camel al-ʿAdbāʾ had never been surpassed in a race. Then a Bedouin arrived with a young mount of his and outran her. This upset the Muslims, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ‘It is incumbent upon Allah that nothing is elevated in this worldly life except that He will later bring it down.’”
