311 – Muhammad ibn ʿAli narrated to us; he said: Abu Ishaq narrated to us; he said: I heard al-Fudayl say that Abu Hazim said:

“The burden of this world and the burden of the Hereafter have both become heavy. As for the burden of the Hereafter, you will find no helpers for it; and as for the burden of this world, you never stretch out your hand toward any part of it without finding that some reprobate has already got there before you.”
