304 – Muhammad ibn al-‘Abbas narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn ‘Umar ibn al-Kumayt related, from Zafir ibn Sulayman, from ‘Uthman ibn Za’ida, who said: It was asked of Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah, “Who is the most outstanding of people in rank?” He replied, “The one who regards the whole of this world as holding no value for himself. Indeed, nothing is a worthy price for your bodies except Paradise, so do not sell them for anything less.”
