300 – Muhammad ibn ‘Ali narrated to me, ⦗143⦘ Ibrahim ibn al-Ash‘ath told us, al-Fudayl ibn ‘Iyad told us, and Sallam ibn Miskin said, “I heard al-Hasan say: ‘Treat this world with contempt, for by Allah, no one ever enjoys it more than the one who belittles it.’”
٣٠٠ - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: ثنا ⦗١٤٣⦘ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْأَشْعَثِ، قَالَ: ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، قَالَ: ثنا سَلَّامُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ، يَقُولُ: «أَهِينُوا الدُّنْيَا، فَوَاللَّهِ مَا هِيَ لِأَحَدٍ بِأَهْنَأَ مِنْهَا لِمَنْ أَهَانَهَا»
