275 – Salamah ibn Shabīb narrated to me, from ⦗135⦘ ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn Najdah, from Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd, from Ḍubārah ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Alhānī, from Duwayd ibn Nāfiʿ, who said: Jesus son of Mary—peace be upon him—said, “You toil for a trifling world and neglect the vast Hereafter, while death will inescapably pass over every one of you.”
٢٧٥ - حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، عَنْ ⦗١٣٥⦘ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ، عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ ضُبَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ، عَنْ دُوَيْدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ ﵇: «تَعْمَلُونَ لِدُنْيَا صَغِيرَةٍ، وَتَتْرُكُونَ الْآخِرَةَ الْكَبِيرَةَ، وَعَلَى كُلِّكُمْ يَمُرُّ الْمَوْتُ»
