266 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; he said: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ashʿath narrated to us; he said: I heard Ibn ʿUyaynah say that Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) said, “The world existed before I ever entered it, and it will remain when I am no longer here. My portion of it is nothing but the days I live in it; so if during those days I am wretched, then wretched I truly am.”
