265 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; he said: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Ashʿath narrated to us; he said: al-Fuḍayl—meaning Ibn ʿIyāḍ—narrated to us, from Manṣūr, from Sālim ibn Abī al-Jaʿd, who said: Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) said, “Guard yourselves from the superfluities of this world, for in the sight of Allah they are nothing but filth.”
